SML Vamos is a powerful insecticide that targets a wide range of lepidopteran pests and insects, such as armyworm, shoot and fruit borer. SML Vamos insecticide penetrates deeply into the crops and kills pests when they ingest it on the crops through systemic and contact action. The dual action of this insecticide does not allow pests to develop resistance against the insecticide and provides continuous protection to crops like maize, cotton, and sugarcane. This insecticide is safe for beneficial organisms such as predators and pollinators, making it safe for the environment.
Quick Control: SML Vamos insecticide kills pests immediately upon contact and provides results within a few hours of application.
Selective Action: This insecticide only targets harmful pests and does not attack beneficial organisms, making it an eco-friendly solution.
Rainfast Solution: The effect of this insecticide does not go away even after the rain, ensuring long-lasting protection to the crops.
Stops Feeding Rapidly: SML Vamos insecticide stops larvae from feeding on the leaves and prevents crop loss.
SML Vamos Insecticide is registered and recommended for the most economically damaging caterpillar pests across major Indian crops:
Paddy: Yellow Stem Borer, Leaf Folder
Maize: Fall Armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda), Stem Borer
Sugarcane: Early Shoot Borer, Top Borer, Internode Borer
Cotton: American Bollworm, Pink Bollworm, Spotted Bollworm
Tomato: Fruit Borer, Tuta absoluta (Tomato Leaf Miner)
Brinjal: Fruit & Shoot Borer (Leucinodes orbonalis)
Chilli: Fruit Borer
Cabbage & Cauliflower: Diamondback Moth (DBM), Head Borer
Pigeon Pea (Red Gram): Pod Borer (Helicoverpa armigera)
Chickpea: Pod Borer
Soybean: Spodoptera, Pod Borer
Groundnut: Tobacco Caterpillar (Spodoptera litura)
For best results, apply SML Vamos Insecticide as a foliar spray at the recommended dose for each crop and target pest.

Pump dose: Use 4 to 5 ml per 15-litre knapsack pump for general foliar application.
Shake the SML Vamos Insecticide bottle well before opening to ensure a uniform suspension.
Measure the required quantity of Vamos Insecticide as per the crop-wise dosage table.
Fill the spray tank with about 70% of the required clean water.
Slowly add the measured product into the tank while stirring continuously.
Top up with the remaining water and mix thoroughly to form a uniform spray solution.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces, with special focus on growing tips, flowers, fruits, and stem whorls.
Re-apply after 14 to 21 days if pest pressure continues, or as a second strategic spray during the peak egg-laying window.
The ideal moment to spray Vamos Insecticide is at the egg-laying peak or very early-larval stage of the target caterpillar — because of its ovi-larvicidal activity, it gives the strongest results when applied just before or right after egg hatch. For paddy stem borer, time the spray at "dead heart" appearance; for cotton bollworm, scout moth activity and spray within 2 to 3 days of peak egg-laying; for fall armyworm in maize, target the whorl stage with directed sprays into the whorl.
Frequency of Application: Apply SML Vamos Insecticide 1 to 2 times per crop cycle at 14 to 21-day intervals — its long residual activity means fewer sprays compared to older insecticides.
Re-Entry Period: Workers may safely re-enter treated fields once the spray has fully dried, generally within 4 to 6 hours of application.
Compatibility: Vamos Insecticide is compatible with most commonly used fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture, and always perform a small jar test before any tank-mix.
Wear hand gloves, a face mask, full-sleeve clothing, and protective eyewear while handling SML Vamos Insecticide.
Refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing anything during the preparation and application of the product.
Avoid direct skin, eye, or mouth contact with the concentrate or its spray solution.
After completing the spray, wash your hands, face, and exposed body parts thoroughly with soap and clean water.
Always spray downwind so the mist drifts away from the operator; never spray against the wind direction.
Keep children, pets, livestock, and unprotected persons away from the field during and immediately after spraying.
In case of accidental ingestion or contact, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor with the product label.
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
