UPL Atabron insecticide is a highly effective Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that contains Chlorfluazuron 5.4% EC. It controls pests such as American bollworm, fruit borer, and shoot borer. Chlorfluazuron 5.4% EC prevents egg laying and hatching, stopping further pest population. UPL Atabron insecticide ensures residual protection to the crops and lasts for a longer period with the help of a systemic mode of action. Atabron Chlorfluazuron 5.4% EC is suitable for crops like cotton, chilli, cabbage, and cauliflower.

Pump dose: Use 30 ml per 15-litre knapsack pump for general foliar application.
Shake the Atabron Chlorfluazuron 5.4% EC bottle well before opening to mix the active ingredient evenly.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Measure the right quantity using a marked cup or syringe.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and pour in the measured product slowly.
Add the remaining water and stir until the solution looks uniform.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Use 150 to 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
Spray UPL Atabron Insecticide at the early stage of caterpillar activity — ideally at the egg-laying peak or when small worms are first spotted on the crop. Because Atabron works on eggs and young larvae, early spraying gives the strongest results. Late afternoon or early evening is the best window, as leaf temperature is cooler and product retention is stronger.
Frequency: 1 to 2 sprays per crop cycle at 20 to 30-day intervals, depending on pest pressure — the long residual means fewer sprays needed.
Re-Entry Period: Wait at least 12 to 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Chlorfluazuron 5.4% EC mixes well with most common fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, or high-pH copper sprays, and always run a small jar test 24 hours before a new tank-mix combination.

Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Spray downwind and keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields.
Wash hands and exposed body parts with soap and water after use.
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately with the product label.
Store UPL Atabron insecticide in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and drinking water sources.
Store Chlorfluazuron 5.4% EC in the original container with the cap tightly closed.
Keep out of reach of children, pets, and livestock.
