Thorlet is a broad-spectrum insecticide containing Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC, a unique combination of a systemic and a contact insecticide, developed using advanced Zeon Capsule (ZC) technology. Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC gets absorbed into the plant and moves through its entire system, targeting hidden sucking pests that feed on sap. Lambda Cyhalothrin acts instantly on contact; its micro-capsules burst when pests walk on treated surfaces, delivering a fast knockdown effect on cotton, maize, and groundnut crops.
Dual Mode of Action: Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC works systemically from inside the plant and on contact from outside.
Fast Knockdown: Pests stop feeding immediately after contact, killing pests immediately after some hours of spraying.
Long Residual: Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC provides 10 to 14 days of effective pest control from a single application and makes it cost-effective for the farmers.
Zeon Technology (ZC): Micro-encapsulated formulation that sticks to leaf surfaces within 1 hour and remains effective even after light rainfall.
Virus Vector Control: Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC controls sucking insects that spread plant viruses, protecting crops from both pest damage and virus infection.
Wide Crop Coverage: Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC is effective on Cotton, Maize, Groundnut, Soybean, Chilli, Tea, and Tomato.
Sucking Insects: Jassids, Aphids, Thrips, Whiteflies, Leafhoppers, Tea Mosquito Bug
Borers & Caterpillars: Bollworms, Fruit Borer, Stem Borer, Shoot Fly, Semilooper
Other Pests: Girdle Beetle, Stem Fly, Leaf Eating Caterpillar
Mix Thorlet in 200 litres of water per acre for foliar spray. Apply Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC at the first sign of pest infestation for best results.
Crop | Target Pests | Dose/Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Cotton | Jassids, aphids, thrips, bollworms | 80 ml | 6 ml | 26 days |
Maize | Aphids, shoot fly, stem borer | 50 ml | 4 ml | 42 days |
Groundnut | Leafhopper, leaf-eating caterpillar | 50 to 60 ml | 4 to 5 ml | 21 days |
Soybean | Stem fly, semi-looper, girdle beetle | 50 to 60 ml | 4 to 5 ml | 21 days |
Chilli | Thrips, fruit borer | 50 to 60 ml | 4 to 5 ml | 5 days |

Note: Never exceed the recommended dose.
Shake the Thorlet bottle well before measuring the required dose.
Add the required dose to a small amount of water and stir well.
Pour into the sprayer tank and fill with the remaining clean water.
Spray evenly on upper and lower leaf surfaces for thorough coverage.
For Maize, direct the nozzle into the whorl of the plant to kill Stem Borers hiding inside.
Do not spray when bees are actively foraging (avoid 10 AM to 4 PM).
Rinse the sprayer with clean water after use.
Spray in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cool, and wind speed is low — this protects pollinators and improves spray coverage on leaf surfaces.
Frequency of Application: Apply Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC at the first sign of pest attack. Repeat after 10–14 days if pest pressure continues. Do not apply more than 2–3 times per season.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-mix Compatibility: Compatible with most commonly used fungicides. Do not apply during flowering. Always do a jar test before mixing.
Wear full protective gear, including gloves, goggles, and a face mask, before handling.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Wash all exposed skin with soap and water right after use.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for 48 hours.
Toxic to bees — do not spray during flowering or when bees are actively foraging.
Toxic to fish and aquatic organisms — avoid spraying near ponds, rivers, or fish farms.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and discard as per local waste guidelines.
Store in its original sealed container in a cool, dry, shaded area away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, animal feed, drinking water, and seeds.
Keep out of reach of children and farm animals at all times.

Controls sucking pests like Jassids, Aphids, Thrips, and Whiteflies as well as chewing pests like Bollworms, Stem Borers, and Fruit Borers across Cotton, Maize, Chilli, Tomato, Tea, Groundnut, and Soybean.
Apply at the first sign of pest attack and repeat after 10–14 days if pest pressure continues. Do not apply more than 2–3 times per season to avoid resistance build-up.
Ensure sufficient soil moisture before spraying for better systemic absorption through roots. Avoid watering immediately after spraying — wait at least 24 to 48 hours so the product adheres properly to leaf surfaces and is fully absorbed into the plant.
Thorlet provides residual pest protection for 8 to 12 days after a single spray due to the Zeon Technology micro-encapsulation that releases active ingredients slowly over time.
Early morning or late evening when temperatures are cool, and bees are not actively foraging — this protects pollinators and improves spray coverage on leaf surfaces.
