Thiolt-30 is a powerful systemic seed treatment insecticide from AgriBegri containing Thiamethoxam 30% FS. It is specially formulated to be applied directly on the seed before sowing, forming a protective coating that defends the young seedling from sucking pests during the most sensitive early growth stage. The Thiamethoxam 30% FS is absorbed into the germinating seedling and moves systemically through the roots, stems, and leaves, killing pests as soon as they begin to feed. The FS (Flowable Suspension for Seed treatment) formulation sticks well to the seed surface, gives an even pink coating, and ensures uniform pest protection across the entire field. Thiolt-30 is widely used on cotton, paddy, maize, soybean, mustard, and many vegetable crops.

Thiamethoxam 30% FS Uses — What Pests Does Thiolt-30 Control?

Thiamethoxam 30% FS Dose — Crop Wise Recommended Dose:

Mix Thiolt-30 with the required quantity of clean water and apply it evenly on the seeds. Allow the seeds to dry in shade before sowing.

Note: Always treat the recommended quantity of seed only. Do not use treated seeds for human or animal consumption.

How To Use Thiolt-30 — Application Instructions:

1. Measure the correct dose of Thiolt-30 based on the seed quantity to be treated.

2. Mix the dose with a small quantity of clean water in a plastic bowl to form a uniform slurry.

3. Spread the seeds on a clean polythene sheet or in a wide tray.

4. Pour the slurry slowly over the seeds while stirring gently with a wooden stick or by gloved hands.

5. Continue mixing until every seed is evenly coated with the pink slurry.

6. Spread the treated seeds in a thin layer in the shade and allow them to dry for 30 to 60 minutes.

7. Sow the treated seeds the same day or within 24 hours for best results.

Best Time To Apply:

Apply Thiamethoxam 30% FS just before sowing, ideally on the same day or one day in advance. Treat seeds in the shade and avoid direct sunlight during drying, as heat may reduce effectiveness. Make sure the seeds are clean, dry, and free from broken parts before treatment. Always sow the treated seeds at the proper depth and in moist soil for uniform germination.

Frequency of Application & Re-Entry Period:

• Frequency: Thiolt-30 is a one-time pre-sowing application. A single seed treatment protects for the first 30 to 40 days of crop growth.

• Re-Entry: Not applicable for foliar spray. However, treated seed should be sown immediately and not be handled without protective gloves.

• Compatibility: Thiamethoxam 30% FS can be used along with biofertilisers and fungicidal seed treatments. Apply the fungicide first, then Thiolt-30, and finally the biofertiliser. Always carry out a small batch test before treating the full quantity of seed.

• Wear gloves, a mask, and goggles while preparing the slurry and coating the seeds.

• Do not eat, drink, or smoke during the seed treatment process.

• Wash your hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after work.

• Do not use treated seeds as food, feed, or for oil extraction under any circumstances.

• Avoid spillage of slurry into ponds, rivers, drains, or wells, as it is toxic to fish and aquatic life.

• Treated seeds are toxic to birds — sow at proper depth and cover with soil to avoid bird feeding.

• Rinse empty bottles three times, puncture them, and dispose of them as per local rules.

• Store Thiolt-30 in its original sealed bottle in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

• Keep separate from food, drinking water, animal feed, and seeds meant for consumption.
